Explore the creative prowess of Bratislava designer Shimon Galansky with the Sinuo chair, a physical manifestation of his aesthetic vision. Crafted from bright orange steel rods, the chair showcases a winding pattern of simple, continuous lines, resulting in a visually light and uniquely structured masterpiece.
In the design process, Galansky experimented with black foams to achieve thin lines, smooth bends, and turns, ultimately creating a seat and back made of thin steel rods. Welded to a triangular support, the chair boasts strength and stability, accentuated by a vibrant Komaxit powder paint coating in bright orange.
Originally conceived as a project for his bachelor’s degree at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Sinuo reflects Galansky’s aesthetic preferences and design philosophy. Inspired by a seminar with Eric Jourdan in 2018, the chair stands as a testament to the young designer’s unique approach, driven by the unpredictable and dynamic nature of the design process.
Immerse yourself in the fusion of artistry and functionality with the Sinuo chair, a captivating expression of Shimon Galansky’s innovative design ethos.
