The Italian furniture brand Gervasoni continues its fruitful collaboration with Paola Navone and presents the development of a collection of functional modular sofas. The collection interprets the home as a place of power, a space specially created for relaxation, in which function and style form an inextricable link, and the sofa becomes the protagonist of a welcoming environment.
Following the success of the Loll sofa last year, its modular version is now available – a project in which comfort and functionality are perfectly expressed in the creation of constantly new compositions. Modules of different depths and special corner elements allow you to model unusual architectural configurations in space.
The modular Loll sofa complements the Loll sofa family with seats of different depths, lengths 200, 240 and 280 cm. The collection includes an armchair, a small easy chair and a bed. The profile of the sofas is emphasized by a characteristic cut: the stitching, like a thin line drawn by hand, follows the shape. The solid wood frame supports comfortable polyurethane foam cushions covered with special hypoallergenic and antibacterial elastic fiber.
To make the padded parts extremely comfortable and nest-like, a layer of goose down was taken and the traditional technique of using mattress springs with pockets for the seat cushions was revived. The furniture cover can be easily removed for cleaning or washing.
The new products from the collection will be in the spotlight during the April presentation at the showroom in Via Durini in Milan. Gervasoni also announces the start of collaboration with new designers, it will be actively presented in September, but for now the brand’s spring offer has already included items from Elena Sanguanqueo and Chiara Andreatti.
