Comfort was a key factor for designers Glenn Pushelberg and George Yabu, founders of Yabu Pushelberg , when creating the new Nodi sofa. Tribù has presented new products for 2023 that will combine existing collections. These timeless pieces, reimagined in new fabrics and complemented with subtle accessories, offer endless possibilities to enhance outdoor living.
The frame of the sofa is powder-coated metal and the back is made of Canax® woven fabric, a weave that supports deep cushions whose innovative filling restores elasticity after repeated compression. The soft upholstery of the seat ensures complete relaxation.
Glenn Pushelberg comments: “The beauty of the sofa is its modularity, and the fact that the curved back sets a rhythm that is equally suitable for both two and three-seater sofas. This flexibility makes it unique and gives it more ways to use it.” The Yabu Pushelberg duo also designed the Dunes coffee table—a rounded solid plantation teak base supports a smooth, round teak top.
The Senja collection has been replenished with a lounger and an armchair from Studio Segers. Designer Wim Segers states: “The Senja collection is a search for the essence of a piece of furniture. Everyday furniture should have the best quality and clean design: this combination creates a feeling of security and comfort.” The back of the Senja chair is covered with twisted Canax® rope and forms a graceful arc around the soft seat. Along with glazed lava stone countertops, teak has been added in 2021, as well as ceramics in five subtle shades – due to small roughness, the surface looks natural.
